This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Pochette Métis in Empreinte Marine Rouge with Golden Brass Hardware.

A compact but not small, concertina satchel style shoulder or cross body bag crafted from a thick and supple navy blue embossed calfskin with contrasting, bright red edging.....it's a stunning piece.

Divided into two internal sections with a full width internal slip pocket and additional zipped section to the reverse of the bag, it's deceptively spacious and one of those wonderfully robust bags you'll never need to baby.

Details -

Well shaped, unsoftened and entirely colour consistent..... without very close inspection it looks perfect.

Hardware is bright and shiny however, as is inevitable as soon as the protective plastic is removed from the base plate, contact scratches occur. Shown in close up detail in the Gallery above, these are much less visible to the naked eye.

The lightest surface graze to the front, upper LH side of the flap, (location circled and shown with the zoom), there's very gentle smoothing to the grain on the base corner curves, (not wear).

The reason for the *notation is due to a manufacturing issue whereby a small smudge of inking, (the red, edge sealent) has strayed during construction. On the rear, RH side of the bag, (location circled and shown with the zoom), this has been reflected in the price.

The interior is fully lined in clean, crisp, stripey red textile displaying a small, vague dustmark to the lower RH side of the rear, slip pocket.
