This is a 100% authentic Louis Vuitton Pochette Métis in Monogram Canvas and Vachette Calfskin with Golden Brass Hardware.

 A neat, concertina satchel style, the tri compartment (plus slip section) Pochette Métis, is an organisers delight.

Deceptively spacious with a zipped pocket to the reverse of the bag, it's one of those wonderfully robust bags you'll never need to baby.

Details -

The monogram canvas is excellent throughout. Supple, robust and the silhouette only gently softened, (see photo standing empty). There are the usual gentle, surface undulations on each side of the inside lining of the top flap, at the points where the top handle attaches from above which form a natural part of the normal construction of these pieces. Motifs all precise, without rubbing and corners and curves pristine.

Stitching tight and strong and bonding (black sealent or 'inking' applied to the edges of the piece) is entirely in place with only a single, tiny flex crack to the LH side's base side at the inlets 'v' ravine.

The vachette calfskin is evenly honeyed throughout. No marks or scuffs and the 'red' edging is all in place with the exception of the most miniscule rub to the rear LH sides, top handles bottom edge, (where it sits inside the holding loop). Invisible in use and doesn't affect the piece in any way.

The engraved front lockplate and underside plate displays only extremely light hairline scratches, however, as is common with use the base plate has acquired contact scratches and minor dulling / discolouration to the finish , (not noticable to the naked eye).

A little contact darkening to the inner curves of the D rings at the side of the bag, the shoulder strap is firm, well shaped and snap hooks are in an excellent condition.

The interior is lined in entirely clean, lightly ruffled, dark chocolate microfibre.
